How your information is used
We collect only the information needed to run accounts, maze attempts, scoring, and the optional location features described below.
Account information
We store your name, display name, email address, password credentials, timezone, and account security settings. Your display name may appear on public game leaderboards; your email address does not.
Gameplay information
We record the games you start, waypoint check-ins, completion times, scores, leaderboard eligibility, and whether a farm manager has marked an attempt invalid. This information supports your attempt history and the game leaderboard.
Camera and location
Camera access is used only while you scan a waypoint QR code. The application does not save camera images or video. Location is optional. If you grant permission, a location sample may be stored when an attempt starts or when you check in or finish. Declining location does not prevent gameplay. If you turn on the live maze map, location updates used to move your marker stay in your browser: they are not sent to our server, saved as a trail, or retained after you close the page.
Retention and access
Attempt records are retained so players and farms can review current and past maze seasons. Raw location samples are private and are not included in public leaderboards. You may request account assistance or deletion by contacting us.
